I like cakes and cupcakes both. And I also like cones and regular ice cream just the same.

Cup, not cone, less pointless carbs, less guilt, no desperately licking around the damn ice cream on top and either disgusting or arousing random by-standers, depending on how skillfull you are at licking the ice cream before it drips and how skillful the one putting the scoops on the cone was. Cake, more interesting possibilities, bigger portions, and cupcakes have too much frosting and crazy flavorless decorations and sprinckles, just in general. There's my two cents.
